Fiesta Island Meet/Greet BBQ! Sunday 22nd

A little buzz kill. Technically drinking isn't allowed on fiesta island.

 

Solo cups? and ice chests

 

Treat it like what would you do if you went to the beach for the day. It's a beach where you can park your truck on the shore.

 

Last time I was there I used cans in a koozie and didn't run into any trouble. As long as we don't create a reason for the 5-0 to come check us out we should be safe. solo cups is also a great idea @TXpro4X4

 

The island is super relaxed, but I figure to throw out the warning in case a beer pong table sets up and @4x4Banger is pounding beer bongs and screaming at the people next to us.

 

If he drives there he won't be drinking. That man is very strict with that rule

 

Just wanted to confirm that I am in for 10/15. I'll bring the furbeast along as well.

 

There are various methods, but I have found is a good old propane soldering torch, hold them with a pair on tongs, rotate and burn the skin black and drop in a bowl. Rinse them and the skin just falls off. Takes only a minute per pepper, cut the top off, gut them, fill with garlic philly cheese, wrap in bacon, hold with a tooth pic and throw them on the grill.

I have a hard time digesting pepper skins so I do it on bell peppers when I make stuffed peppers, I use three different peppers in my crock pot refried beans, Anaheims when I make chili relleno casserole.

Damnit!!!! The one day I cannot do is the 15th! A friend is coming. Back into town from 6 months military training and that's the get back together day.

 

I'm for sure in on the 15th unless something random comes up. Will bring the furball also. 35lb corgi beagle mix. He cool.
