hey guys this is one of the trucks pn this site. I like the black that is on it. I wanted to do something like this but with a matte or satin finish. Anyone have suggestions to improve this on my truck?

 

Sweet! I really like that! Maybe sockmoney would be able to do something like that? Either that or a paintshop

 

yeah i was thinking vinyl just so when I get tired of it or want to change I can just remove it. Any suggestions on how to make it better tho? And what do you guys think about a matte finish to match the rims and accessories?

 

I'm all about matching, so I think a matte finish would look good. What about something gradual, like having the silver of your truck kinda fade in with the black? I'm trying to think of a word to describe it....

Yeah, I'm not sure how that would work. Do you know of any custom paint shops or body shops that do things like that?

Okay cool.

Yeah I have done a couple things to it, mostly minor aesthetic things. There are some new pics on the last page of my build.

 

I was thinkin about painting mine black where you did the red. Not brave enough to pull the inside apart yet. And IM still not convinced the paint would hold up very well.

 

My friend does great vinyl work. He can easily do that. Here is the stuff he did on my truck. I have been through the rain, much, desert, brush and carh washes and it still hold up.

Bumper valence and fenders are all vinyl.

 

Did you mean my cupholders? I thought it might be tricky to pull the piece out but it was actually really easy. Just pull hard and it will pop right out. It's been like that over a month now and I don't have any scratches or anything. It's actually easier to clean that way than the original silver paint.

Ok so Im driving on the 605 the other day minding my own business, listening to some music........ Then BAM! Something hit my window. I didnt even see that sh!t coming nor did I see it hit it was so fast. But that left this big crack immediately!

It hit under the wiper and cracked about 8" up. Getting it fixed tomorrow.

 

damn girl thats nasty...is the 605 where everything happens?? cuz about 6 months ago i was driving north n i nice big rock flies n hits my windshield leaving a chip...
