Yoda did you ever read the original book "First Blood" ? I did when in the Army at Ft. Stewart Ga. around 1976. Much better than the movie.

Read the book, full of real stuff and none of that Hollywood crap.

Cool. Im about 60 or so miles south of Chicago so I'm pretty far from DuBois. Ya there is a ton of dear around me. With all the fields and a good amount of forest preserves it really gives them a good amount of space.

Sadly so much of Florida is getting over run by development and crowding the animals out of their homes by increasing sprawl etc. Bears invading homes trash, panthers (and deer as you know) getting run over by autos on a regular basis. Ah but I'll take the maybe record breaking high 80s maybe even 90 Friday. I'd rather sweat than shiver my friend. I'll be hog hunting this weekend.
