    Local dealer salesman made it a point to tell me not to top it off, he said it saturates a carbon canister, they had to drop the tank for $300 to fix it. I was wondering about that...

    Researching 3" Suspension Lift
    where is the carbon canister located? I'm just started having the same issue where i cant pump gas for more than 2 or 3 seconds before the pump cuts off? I also can smell gas vapors after i get out of the truck. what is your opinion, think i'm having the same problem?

    The 'fumes' are drawn off of the carbon canister during normal vehicle operation...unless it's soaked with liquid gas, in which case the system doesn't work.
