I got a card in the mail notifying me of the service action on 2016 TRD. I just stuck in in my dead letter pile and forgot about it. I don't like people messing with my stuff so being as I had no problems (or so I thought) I wouldn't be taking it in for that. Forward about a month we had a hurricane come up through Mississippi and dropped about 4 inches of rain on us here in Alabama. After the rain the sun came out and to my horror water was running down the inside of all my glass like it was raining inside from condensation. I found the card and called to set up my truck for the dealer to fix it. Now bear in mind that I never smelled anything or saw anything in my truck to indicate I had a problem. When the dealer inspected they found mold and would not let me drive it until it was fixed. They had it for 2 months while they fixed it claiming the parts were backordered. During that time they gave me a 2024 to drive. They replaced the brake light, headliner, carpet and pad and had to thoroughly clean to mitigate the mold. It didn't cost me a dime and my truck is like new again. They made like this mold is really bad stuff and like I said they wouldn't let me drive it. They said if I got sick they could be found libel. I had to clean it out and leave it.
