    Hello from FoCo NorCo!

As with others after signing up, I was prompted to post here...

I originally planned to buy my first Tacoma in 2002, but ended up with a red jeep TJ. It was a good ride for 4 years until I realized that it was a "Jeep Thing," and I didn't understand.

I planned to replace the Jeep with a 2k6 Indigo Ink Tacoma, but fell for a Silver Xterra Off Road with the 6mt. It was honestly a good truck averaged close to 18mpg for its life, went numerous places off road with me including a few places we probably had no business going. Friday before Christmas one of the secondary timing chains broke and she met her untimely death at 159,000 on the nose.
I had a few vehicles on my list, and this morning drove a fully loaded Rubicon Unlimited (wow they are much more livable now), but fell for the new Tacoma. As I've read around here, finding what you want is hard, and ordering was quoted a 12 weeks. But it just happened that a Blazing Blue Pearl Tacoma was coming into my local dealer without having been spoken for... Till now! I placed my deposit for her this evening and tentatively plan to take delivery of my new lady on Saturday! 14 years after the planned first Tacoma!

Oh, I had just put KO2s on the Xterra right before Thanksgiving, so I'll be swapping the tires around as soon as I get through with delivery.

I've skimmed these pages for a decade or more, but now have reason to be here. Will post pictures after delivery.

Sorry for the long first post!
