Hi all, I took delivery of the new TRD Pro I ordered on July 31 after admiring them for the past three years or so. She's getting dropped off at the detail shop tomorrow for front PPF and ceramic coat. After that, I plan to get the front windows tinted to match the back. Looking forward to browsing these forums to see what others have done to their Tacos.

    Welcome to TW forum.
I think that window tint to match the rears is a great start for improving the looks. And it don't matter what color either, but I'm kind of partial to super white. Yeah, yeah, the fastest color for sure:thumbsup:

@malicoreon , when you take that in for the paint protection, I should have done some 3M clear on the rear at box above tailpipe. I'll post a picture in a second. My wifes 2013 with 100k miles is toast back there. I've got all the clearcoat rubbed off.
Picture of mine in a second, I'll take one right quick.

So my 2017 has some from the factory back there but it could go a little higher. 20210912_112253.jpg

Thanks that is good to know. From your picture, it looks like the PPF took the brunt of the assault and the paint is good. Paint looks thicker there, too.

I am getting the front bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, and mirror caps. Was going to do the whole hood until the guy told me it’s a gloss film. Also getting the 9 year ceramic and the windows treated.

Tooth paste will remove all of that discoloration.
