I knew a jon batchelder in high school. He had a brother. Maybe it's his dad or something. But I would go to the address first and be polite. Then if no progress get legal action.

consult a lawyer, usually they'll hear you out for free, and if they think you have a high possibility of winning, they'll take your case because they'll just make their fees through the damages they get from Batch racing

Wow. This entire thread and the link to rangers is epic. Personally the guy needs an ass beating whether you get your money back or not.
For someone to be that bold and sell stuff with them shitty welds and hack jobs.
Isn't there some kinda vehicle safety regulations involved with being a fabricator?

Yeah man, my pleasure. I was in no way suggesting a confrontation, but the more leverage you have in a monetary dispute the better. He might not even live at that house, but somebody in his family does. I know that if my folks started having their house phone blow up with people who said I was ripping them off, I sure as hell would get an earful from my Mom.
The more pressure you can put on him the better. It's really easy to hide on the internet when you don't think the people you owe can find you. Having to watch his back IRL might help motivate him to right his wrongs.

I think this makes it pretty crystal clear that Nate & Batch Racing are completely worthless. They're technically incompetent (terrible welds, uneven geometry) and morally absent. They've outright robbed more than just the OP.

So Paypal took over my claim and they concluded the dispute in my favor. However, they were not able to recover my deposit of $400 because of their policy. Let this be a lesson to all of you. DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU INVEST!!!
