Yeah, I'll go out at lunchtime and take a pic or two of the hinge and bottom of the platform. It ain't pretty, but I figured no one would see it anyway

I think it does. Now, I'm just confused at the differences in pic #3 and 4 in your original post. Was this before you added the legs? Do you have a pic of it all folded up, outside of the truck? I'm pretty sure that's what I'm missing between pics 3 and 4. Thank you!

Pics 3 and 4 to keep you from scrolling:

yeah, sorry. Pic 3 was a test fit without the legs on it. I'll get you a pick of it out of the truck and flipped and folded up.

Thank you. I think I understand the design now, but if you don't mind one more pic would really seal the deal.

Home Depot didn't have any carpet so I ended up covering it a rubber non-stick wrap. Really happy with it. Bought a long bathmat to cover it up for the dogs on long trips

Better platform than what I did. I got the canvas material car hammock for $20 off Amazon to deal with most of the hair etc for my elderly gal

What a bunch of good bois!

I have to build one of these. I'll be using these photos as references tomorrow.

I know this thread is old and coming back to life, but a couple of months ago I re-carpeted my dog platform. Since the platform is rarely out of my truck, I took some pictures to show my design. The back of the platform rests to the cubby storage areas with the Access Cab seats folded up.

I'm so glad to see this thread still going as people build similar dog platforms for the backseats of their truck. My pup passed away in 2021 but I still have my platform in the back and it looks good as new.

There's no way I can let an access cab dog platform thread pass by without adding a picture of Finley!
