Honestly, what's the point of downgrading something you don't like? Don't buy one. Period. They have their place.

I looked at em and couldn't even get serious due to looks. I've seen em lifted with wheels and tires and they do look better, but that is very discouraged by Honda due to their complex AWD system. If the mpgs were better, I maybe would of looked closer.

The Ridgeline is an Odyssey with a bed.

That's not a bad thing. It's also not a truck.

As a family-mover for your typical American surburbanite shitheads, it's probably the best vehicle out there.

Considering the platform similarities, the comparison is plenty valid.

    Im getting there......
alright the ridgeline isnt a truck so stop comparing it to tacoma dammit. The ridgeline is its own class which is not necessarily bad. Still i chose a tacoma for it to be a TRUCK! I would buy a ridgeline if that is what i needed.

BTW it is way better than chevy avalances.

This was my wife's Ridgeline from a couple years ago. We had to trade it for something with a third row when we found out we were expecting another child. It is one of her favorite vehicles of all time. Yes, it was ugly. I did what I could to make it look better with Acura wheels, tint, and some factory Honda accessories. It had a really nice ride, got decent gas mileage. I hauled and towed with it quite a bit. It wasn't nearly the truck as the Tacoma, but for Honda's first effort, it had potential.
