I probably wouldn't have bought them, they really don,t help me get in and out that much but they do offer protection from the dirt road I live on, it does make it easier to unload stuff and helpful for my wife so I will keep them on for now. Unless I see something posted here that say's "oooh thats the look I want" and out comes the wallet.

Mine came with the tube steps and I didn't want them, I think they look better without them.

BUT----- The first time I drove down a dirt road and heard all the rocks they were stopping from hammering the doors, rocker panels and fenders I decided they could stay.

I was told by dealers across the western region that the truck I wanted wouldn’t be available.

    Then it showed up

    Great looking truck.
IfI didn't need the extra room, I would have gotten and AC, they look great with the long bed.

    Thanks!

I hear you, I love the versatility of the truck the way it is, it works great for me. I’ve always built custom storage behind my seats in my extra cabs and they end up pretty nice and useful.

I had to think hard to remember the last time someone even sat in my passenger seat, let alone my backseat.

I picked up my unicorn yesterday and then promptly drove it 791 miles on the first leg of its journey home.

I had a helluva time getting a non-white or silver (I don't like those colors)2023 SR5 with the AC, 3.5 motor and 4WD. If I had also been looking for a MT I think I'd still be looking. I have had plenty of MTs and my wife wouldn't drive this with it, so I deferred to her need to be able to pull our camper.Toyota Tacoma SR5 2023 3.jpg
