What's up TW!!! Finally got a Taco about 6 mo. Ago and am loving every min. Of my work commute now. Constantly finding reasons to get off the pavement as its seams like this truck was born to be off road. This is my first new vehicle and have wanted a Tacoma since I got my first car in high school.

Anyway just wanted to thank all the members on here for their valuable opinions and for putting them on this site. Ive already used TW multiple times while in the process of choosing which UCA's to go with and so on and so on. This place is a wealth of info. I'll prob. Be removing my procomp 3" lift here soon (dealer installed) and install the OME stuff all the way around but thats for another thread.

Thanks again guys and God bless!!!

Interested to hear the back to OEM story. Have a blast with that new unit. They do belong where roads don't go!

I'm not actually going all the way back to OEM. The Procomp 3" lift on there now is just a little stiff for my personal liking as this is my daily driver. The dealer also installed an 18" wheel with 305/60's with a triply sidewall, which imo only intensifies the issue of being a stiff ride. So my long term plan is to install either the old man emu or Bilstein 5100's to still maintain offroad performance but create a little softer ride on the pavement. Also starting to develop a vibration in the front end at low speeds which may be due to the fact that the procomp spring provided more than 3" of lift thus creating an issue with the ifs or front diff. I'm going to take to dealer as soon as time permits to have them inspect the vibration in more detail, had them look at it at last oil change and they told me it was the tires, I know this is not the case b/c if you engage the 4H at around 30mph the vibratin goes away instantly. With all of this said I love the truck and did not expect it to ride like a caddy so don't mind spending a little cash to fine tune the suspension to my liking, worried more about the vibration more than anything but would suspect if any damage is done from the lift it would be covered under warrenty since the dealer installed the lift. Sorry in advance for the long post. Have a good one and God Bless.

No need apologizing for the long post lol. I had vibration and squeaking issues when my 3" procomp was initially installed. Didn't do it right away only after alignment. Had the shop look at it and one bolt had loosened, or wasn't retightened after alignment, and was rubbing on the lower left control arm. A little tweaking and tightening and it has been good since for nearly a year. I also went with 18" but the offset wasn't enough to run a 305/60 so I went a little narrower but I hear you on the ride though, definitely roughed it up a fair bit. Good luck with the endeavour! Let us know how you make out

10-4 thanks for the info. When I take to the dealer I'll mention the bolt issue as the vibration I believe did start not long after the previous service. Nice rig by the way, diggin the topper.
