Finally got a tacoma

    Hey all I've been lurking around here for 7ish years absorbing information, always liked tacomas. Almost bought one 6 years ago but ended up with a colorado zr2 instead. Kept dumping money into it even though it was the most unreliable vehicle I've ever owned at only 135k km. Tuned, geared, 35s, cut fenders, no swaybar, welded on sliders, pedal commander all that jazz. Loved it when I worked, which usually lasted 3 months then something else broke.

    Got to the point where they pulled the head off and had to replace 2 exhaust valves because of "bad quality fuel over time" right. That extended warranty company probably hates me now. So I got annoyed called my local toyota dealer in winnipeg where I got my manual 22 corolla and asked what was coming for pros. Said a manual solar octane will be here in 2 months. Great thats exactly what I was after, put a deposit on it and it arrived when they said.

    So I traded my corolla and the colorado, now I have my ultimate spec truck I wanted. Can't complain they trade for over 70k used where I live if you can even find one. Hate all the new 1/4 tonnes with 4 cylinders, love old reliable tech. My brothers 17 sport auto has 250k km on it with basic maintinence and 0 issues. I'm happy. Will be doing the ADM shortly as I am not a fan of the clutch feel. Not going to go overboard like I did with my old truck. 20230115_111549.jpg 20230809_075259.jpg
