Hey TW, I've always wanted a tacoma especially when the 05 body styles came out. Two weeks ago for my 27th bday I finally bought one and I love it. Great truck, instantly went out to four wheel a bit. I actaully found TW today as I was look up and trying to diagnose the engine knocking sound around 1500rpm, got plenty of feedback from the community, much appreciation! Anyway, glad to be a part of all the talk and support!

Best advice off the top of my head, ditch that K&N before it fouls ur MAF sensor.......
Clean ur throttle body, and maf.

Use an afe non oiled or stock filter.....

    Welcome to da club

Oil Bath air filters, which is what K&N makes, have the tendency (although being good at absorbing particles) of fouling the MAF sensor due to oil content of the filter. Plus they are a pain if you clean your filters.

    Welcome to TW!
