    Howdy Friends!
    At 50-years old I finally got my dream truck: 1st gen. face-lift ('01), green, ext. cab, 4wd, SR5, 4 cylinder, manual. I didn't need it (had a 2wd reg. cab already), and like all Tacomas, it was grossly overpriced and hard to get my hands on, but dammit, I'm 50, I had the money, and it's what I wanted! Yay me! Anyway, we're in love. Her name's Demelza, after this green-dress wearing, redheaded sexy badass character from TV:

    Like Demelza Poldark, Demelza the truck has lots of beautiful, flowing red surface rust, which we both look forward to untangling someday soon.
