What? Is that supposed to be an insult or something?

Honestly as much as I love the 4.0 we have, I'd still take a Boxer any day. Also having had both the 5' and 6' bed... it's really not that big of a difference as you might think. I'm going to get a bed tent for mine... all I have to do is drop the gate and it's 6'.

I'm hoping to know this feeling very soon. I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago, and it still hasn't come in yet. I'm about a week and a half away according to the dealership last time I checked. I'm getting anxious, and a little jealous. But in all seriousness, happy for you!

sorry im not trying to hate just having a little fun, i hated toyota for putting me in such a predicament(no four doors with 6' bed available in manual tranny) Will your feet have to hang out the tent on your gate or will you spoon with your girlfriend in the fetal position? i like the fact that i can put shit in the back and not have to pack in 5'+ lengths on a diagonal. my snowboard is like 5'4" and wouldnt fit. why toyota? why?

is any "truck" with four doors and a bed under 6' in length, kind of like a jacked up sedan with a bed to throw your shit in, minus the boxer motor(which is a major pain in the ass by the way)

    Nice truck!!

So, they stopped using the Black Sand Pearl and now it's just Black, right? Can you take some close ups in the sun and post the color code from the sticker on the driver's door jamb?

I am gonna get a new grill and may want to get it in the 2011 Black. It comes already painted so that's why I ask..........

    Thanks!

Nice truck man just what I am looking for.

What did you end up getting it for? I am in the process of trying to negotiate with my dealer about one.

I'm running 20% as well, it matches fine to me. Although when you look from the inside out, the factory looks a little more brown, while the aftermarket looks a little more gray.

Nice truck man! Didn't think that manual was even an option for the DC 4X4's. Let the black-out begin...

Congrats, sweet ride. I had to wait 6 frickin months for my manual to show up. Turns out it was headed to some dealership in Arkansas. What, we don't drive 4x4's in Texas? What the hell, toyota?

    Not Toyota's fault.

The dealerships order the vehicles from the manufacturer. And since probably 80-90% of new car buyers want automatic...what would you stock in your inventory?

I ended up paying $28,000 out the door, including tax, tags and fees. (wasn't easy, had dealer competing with each other.) sticker price was around $31,600
call different dealers and get online quotes and try to make the dealers compete with each other.

Nice truck, brother! I got the same ride, but special ordered it with heated leather seats and the roof rack. I had to wait on it for three months! It is definitely awesome, and I wouldn't settle for anything other than the manual transmission. I was considering getting the window weather guards. What do you think? Are they worth it, and where did you pick yours up? Also, any concerns with the suspension and all the talk about extra springs from a previous TSB? Enjoy yours as I'll be enjoying mine. Unfortunately I don't have a garage to park mine in...
