Congrats on the MT. If I did not tow a boat around so much, I'd be all in. Don't understand all the bitching about the AT though. Its reliable, does what its supposed to do, and it has a Sport mode you can run 24/7 if you want.

I mean, not trying to be a dick but I'm not sure the Tundra turbo drama is as big as it was made out to be. There were a few ppl on YouTube shouting quite loudly, that's for sure. I'd be pissed too if my brand new expensive truck threw codes and had to be towed to a dealer with under 1k on it.
Nobody outside Toyota really knows how many had the actuator issue, however.
Not a great start to a new gen launch, I will have to agree.

It's a probability issue to me. So hypothetically, if a first year production vehicle which carries a 5% defect rate while a 4th year production has 1% defect rate, I think it's worth waiting. Sure warranty can fix it good but it feels nice knowing nothing's wrong in the first place

I hope they gear it short like a Miata and don’t just phone it in. Having to constantly shift a zippy Miata is what makes it more fun than it should be.

I went through every 29 pages of this! After reading all 29 pages I settled on the TRD FJ ball. Thanks to a member here, I was able to finally order it.

I ordered mine from Shift Solutions on Ebay. They had a heavy knob with a delrin cover (I live in a cold area). I really like the looks of the Raceseng Slammer, but kept thinking of resting my hand on a solid steel knob in below zero weather.

Well, you gave it a chance. I respect that.

I put 14k miles on my 2017 but I had to let it go until Toyota addressed some issues. My 2021 has nearly 15k miles now. All of the shit that bugged me with the 2017 has been addressed in my 2021. Keeping it.

Got my bumper put on today. Just like in my '21, almost hit a deer my first week owning this one so I wasted no time.

    Congrats bro, I’m jelly!

I would almost trade my 2015 Utility Package Access Cab 4-cyl 5-speed for a new TRD OR MT truck!

I know the dealer would want my truck but trying to take on a car payment after paying one off is just hard at the moment.

With the market the way it is these days and the MY22 probably being the last year offered in a manual it was a no-brainer for me. I had to act fast.

    Don’t blame you there!

I’m sure if they decide to stop MTs in 2023 I’ll sit on my little Taco till I or it die!

I have an older LC with over 400K miles on it so it’s the best of both worlds. Hahaha

12MPG V8 on 33s with the LC or 19ish MPG with my 4-cyl on 255s.

Congrats on your MT. I waited 9 months trying to find my 21 MT back in Jan 2020. It took so long because at the time I could not seeing paying $10-20K over MSRP for a Pro. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait.

Finally got a good shot with the bumper that didn't make the truck look like it skips leg day. Haha
