When you got those powdercoated was the black color just MATTE? I was reading a another post where a member said the powdercoating place had a ton of different colors.

The business that powdercoated mine had four or five different shades of black available. We chose the one just under "gloss" black. I don't recall the name but I think it was "matte" or "semi-gloss."

The dealer should have samples of items that have been coated so you can see the difference. I bought the OE FJ centercaps and took one of those in to match my color to. They turned out almost a perfect match.

Thats the best way to obtain Trail Edition TRD Wheels and not spend $1500-$2k for them.
    Great Job! :D

Thanks for the compliments, guys! Since that picture was taken, I've installed a Grillcraft grill with TRD logo, T-rex eyelids, BHLM, and a BSP painted rear bumper. Only chrome left on the truck is the lugnuts, and I'm working on a solution for that.

The truck looks GREAT. If you do not want to spend a lot of money try sanding or scuffing the chrome enough and spray paint them. What I have used in the past is black epoxy spray paint for appliances. Once cured it is very tuff. I just recently painted my window swith panel and the insides of the wheels. The only thing is that it is a gloss finish. Since it's only the lug I'm sure that it will all blend in nicely.
Got the spray paint at Home Depot or Lowes. Hope this suggestion helps you or gives you an idea.

    :D
