that looks totally great and youve convinced me to move on mine even though i havent decided on rims and tires because it still looks great with the stock rims and tires, those are 17" rims right?

great colour by the way......of course im biased :)

    thanks

Yeah that was an old pic. At the time I was unsure about posting license plate online but its one of those things that people look at everyday so I gave up trying to cover it up.

IslandBoy86 - No problems with vibrations yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. So far everything feels like it did before the lift.

Toycan - No these are the 16" rims.

By no means am I a suspension expert but I like the OME suspension way more than stock. I have about 4 of the wide speed bumps down my street in my neighborhood. With the stock setup I could take them at 30mph no problem but was always worried about bottoming out. With the lift on I can do the same and there seems to be less down travel. It is stiffer but not harsh if that makes any sense. It rides smooth over potholes and cracks in the road. Have not had a chance to do any off roading but can't wait.

    3" OME lift 885s & Dakars riding on 33" KM2s
    Agreed
Down travel loss due to lifting 2" to 3" So you get more ground clearence but less down travel.
I found it smoother both on road & off. Love the ride.
Post lift test run video. I had done the trail before but not the ruts because of a lack of groung clearence.

    Old Man Emu
Suspension, especially when referring to 4WDs, is extremely complex. Determining the right solution for each 4x4 requires special attention to many factors, with weight being the most critical. This relationship between vehicle weight and suspension is where Old Man Emu gets its name - the emu is a large Australian flightless bird, when it runs, its powerful legs absorb most of the impact, allowing it to move over all types of terrain while its body remains virtually motionless. This is what Old Man Emu strives to achieve with its range of fully integrated 4x4 shocks and suspension systems. Old Man Emu suspension systems include carefully matched spring and shock combinations engineered to improve vehicle ride, handling and control under various loads.

And yes that trail is a lot of fun. It goes from Boomtown (NV & CA border) to Reno

Nice job! Looks good. I only have a 2.5 inch procomp strut spacer and the TSB in the back and running 285/70/17s with zero rub at full flex and full left right turn in the front. This weekend I took it on a class 7 trail in the southern sierras. With a couple hundred lbs of gear in the back the rear was the thing that rubbed at extreme flex. Without gear I don't think it would have rubbed.

My point is...I don't think you would have a problem running 33s with a full 3" front AND back.

    Great color too!
