Nice Christmas gift to myself (the wife contributed a bit too :D). Took FOREVER for it to get here, it was initially a 4 week wait, but then the semi that was carrying it crashed in OHIO so they had to build another one! Anyway, 11 weeks later and it's here; it's an ARE Cx series with the front flipdown slider window, drivers side "windoor", and nice carpet interior. Looks great IMHO. Will be adding a custom fabbed roof rack to it soon for extra cargo room.

Thanks for all the comment guys....It is pretty sharp. I just finished getting my rack on. I think I am more proud of the rack than the shell. I guess cause all it cost me was materials...fabbed it up with my buddy (the welder). Definitely had some hesitation drilling six holes into a brand new shell...oh well. It will make for much usable space on my hunting trips to the backcountry.

Definitely WAAYYYY less than I paid. I held out for a craiglist score for 4 months but couldn't handle it anymore. Tough paying full pop, especially since the last shell (2003 Tundra) I bought I only paid $150, and it was the right color :D

Lost track many, many mods ago.
I sold mine a year ago. Dumbest thing I ever did. I miss my roof rack and all the extra storage space. (Especially since I have a regular cab...) Yours look good. Congrats man!

Looks great, one word of warning, if you haven't got a bed liner, the back door is going to wear the shit of the paint where it closes on the tail gate.
I have it on my work truck and the liner comes down the tail gate about 1.5" so the door closes on the liner

This is the first time I got a good look at your truck-that truck is nice! I hate red vehicles-but yours with all the black offsets is tough looking. I would own it. Very clean (like mine:D) shows pride of ownership which in my book is cool.
That shell makes it a whole different truck, doesn't it?

I have a similar shell that I picked up for $200 that I think I'm going to paint black on my red Taco. I've got a lot of black accents, so I think it'll look pretty sharp. But it looks great man! Hope you enjoy it!
