I wanted a black tacoma. Then, when two popped up in inventory, I thought maybe I’d go silver sky since it is easy to keep clean and my wife’s van is that color. Those were already sold.

Then more than two dealerships told me it’d be 2-4 months to get one on order (manual/premium/tech). I found my cement one on a lot and went with it.

It’s hard to believe how rare they really are (manual/premium/tech) but having had my eye on the market since last August, I can attest to the fact that most of them that appear on the inventory finder are indeed already sold (I.e. someone else’s order). There are SOME that just come in and are offered up for sale but you better know where they are coming and get moving or they’re gone. Sometimes people order then canacel and those are up for grabs.

Otherwise, you’re looking at a special order. Especially for cement. I’ve been told over and over and over how coveted cement is (I don’t get it, really) and how lucky I was to get one in he configuration I got.
