The dealer has had it since nov 14th. replacing the frame. I'm so excited to have her back. Its funny because I've been driving a 2011 taco. But it just wasn't the same. I do really miss the seats though! Holy crap those were awesome seats.
My half new truck rides so nice now. They replaced so much stuff! The bill was over $12,000.00. I must say I'm very impressed with how Toyota handled this. They were very professional. All in all. So happy she's back!

At the rate I feel like they should have almost just brought it back. Glad you got the truck back though.

Joesph Toyota did the work. Very polite and professional. They did take forever though. Oh well. It was worth it. Drives like new again.

Man, what I would give to have them replace my frame... Although it's in good shape after being sprayed about 14 years ago. But still, to have a new frame and a few other new parts at no charge would be awesome. Congrats on your "new" truck!

Haha. Thank you! When i first saw the hole in the frame i was actually depressed. But that quickly changed when toyota said all the stuff i was going to get. It worked out real nice! Another reason why I will always own toyota's

How big was the hole in your frame? They sprayed mine last year, while putting my lift on I found one hole 1/8 in diameter in the front . In the back its flaking alot. What did they replace on your truck, could you show us the list. Glad you had a good experiance.

    Good for you man!! :)

my frame still looks great (and was just inspected and undercoated) but its VERY comforting to know that I have 4 1/2 MORE years of eligibility for this extended warranty.

Yes ill scan the list later. I have new leaf springs, control arms, bushings the list goes on. But they didnt specify anything else it just said "common used parts" a bunch. I had one hole up front that i saw. And i took it to them to look at it. They put in on the lift and got their tool (a hammer) Then once they got under it it was so obvious that it was done for they didnt even hit it. It had holes and chunks missing out of it. I was actually a little emabarresd that i didnt notice it sooner.
