Just throwing an idea out there, but it would be cool to put some big oversized rubber mud flaps on the rear wheels. The same kind you see on the big rigs. I know if I was following you on the highway I would appreciate it haha! That's one BADASS looking truck! keep up the good work!

ok so finally at a computer and can do some typing anyway to all those who doubt...since my thread has been inactive i went to school for welding became a machinist also trained in fitting fabrication and now do it professionally. i pulled the bed completely "redid" it pulled the old bumper i made originally and made a new one completely tiged out square tubing. simillar but much cleaner. replaced the stock bumper tabs with 1/2 plate which is taped for my bumper bolts. the rear end was replaced and now reverse lights are moved up all on the same plate and the turn signals are now amber ovals like the rest. i replaced the ill fitting glassworks with fiberwerx. new headlights and off road fogs. installed air horns that operate off the stock horn button. i did the anytime fog mod so my offroad lights operate off the original fog system but can be operated anytime. the entire truck is stripped down and is getting rhinoline. third brake light is replaced with led aswell. the bed is already done and coated replaced the toyota trac system with 6 d rings that are bolted to the bed way stronger than before. the front skid plate is now bigger and getting toyota plasma cut into it and it and the rear light plate are held in with taped stainless bolts for a clean look. i think thats it oh and replaced the grill so that when the truck comes back from coating basically it will be new on the outside. if i left anything out ill update asap

So far new headlights and grill are in along with headlight trim mirrors and door handles. Bumper is on aswell. Ran out of light so ill pick it back up tomorrow. Going to try and get my skid plate cut tomorrow and get it coated. Only downfall to rhinoline is all the "diddy balls" or slight overspray has to be trimmed and cleaned but no worries its not a show queen is a uh well im not even sure yet lol

Back ends on aside from tool box and led third brake light Just quick connectored on for now. Tomorrow ill solder and heat shrink all connections then wrap them with sheathing and hid them better. So time consuming i hate wiring ugh

Zombie apoloptic preperation vehicle...next is mill a mount for my ak47...seriously though im an average guy i cant afford two truck so im building a flatbed work truck with a prerunner twist. Not to everyones liking but where i live everyone bolts on 6in lifts wheels tires and calls it a day. No to bash i like the look but i wanna be different. I love the look of flat bed not sure why i just do. But i didnt want it to look so bulky. Once its done ill do the suspension work. Plus im a welder machinist so i made everything i could free advertisement.... Truth be told with everything done ill im less than 10 into it including purchase of the truck. Its a good want to vent creative juices loli have 50 bucks into the bumper

I just want different in my own personal touch

I know I read the whole thread the other night...don't listen to the haters. Follow your heart, it will never steer you in the wrong direction. I just asked because I think the flatbed idea is bad ass, I just couldn't think of how I would use it lol. All in all though, to be in this under 10k truck included, you are WINNING! Good job bro!

Yeah i understand for me it works great. Im a welder so i can bolt a welder to it but to be honest the best use as lame as it sounds is seating lol. Other than loving the look whenever i drive out on the beach and all its just good seating With the tool box and all but mostly just like the look. I rarely even used the bed, when i bought it it was wrecked so it was the final push to get me to make one. Ill have to search but i have to give credit to a user on here he gave advise and tips. He did a simmilar style before me and i dont wanna act like it was all my idea. Every piece was buit by me however i did have inspiration.

I will add this though lack of money it takes means more time...my wife makes the most adorable flashlight holder ever haha. Seriously tough she helped me put the bed and lights on tonight. She may not turn a wrench but im amazed what another set of eyes sees.
