Finally got the frame replacement and my truck back!!

    If they disconnected it, then perhaps they didn't fill it up... if you ran the AC for any extended period and the compressor didn't have the oil in it, that could have burned it up too.

    I don't drive alot and it's been cooler here, but the first "long" drive was about 45 minutes worked fine, coming home when I kicked the ac on, the light flashed and then I had a horrible noise, I shut if off, the noise stopped. Tried again...the same problem so did not turn it back on.

    I have a question, if they take the compressor off can they see if there is oil in it?

    Could someone with more knowledge about the mechanics of it help me formulate a response to the dealership claim that the compressor going out was coincidental? Just because they did not remove the compressor does not mean that they didn't remove lines right? Should I go pick up my truck and have someone else look at it and document it? I have a call into corporate.

    I appreciate all your help and feedback, I'm just not smart about how all this crapola works LOL.
