beautiful! I'm loving the way those bronze wheels are looking with the BSP, especially with those new tires.

Entirely too much! I'm almost ashamed to add it all up.
    Toytec Ultimate lift kit: 1,150.00
    Carrier bearing drop: 12.00
    Extended brake lines: 70.00
    TC UCAs: 575.00
    TRD wheels: 985.00
    BFG MT KM2s: 1,004.00
    Lift install w/ mount/balance & alignment: 594.00
The look on my face after everything was installed: Priceless

There are some vibrations but i'm pretty sure it's almost all due to the mud tires. They're actually much more road friendly in terms of vibration and sound than I was expecting. The ride is significantly stiffer than the stock billies, but what do you expect? It now feels like a truck :) No rubbing at all that i've seen.

    See post # 16

And thanks to all the compliments. I didn't think I could love my Tacoma any more than I did the day I drove it off the lot, but this week I proved myself wrong.

Don't be suprised if you see your truck's twin if you're ever in Houston! I have BSP DC TRD off road 4x4, and just ordered the bronze TRD wheels yesterday and the Toytec ultimate lift today.

I jut saw this thread after I ordered all of my parts, it's awesome to get a preview of how it will look when it's all done. It looks better than I imagined it would!

I had this kit. No issues as long as you don't adjust the CO's too high. Once you do that you'll start blowing CV boots.

ultimate lift kit ( toytec ) ome dakar leaf pack , w/ extended length billies, LR uca's, Pro comp 7089s, KM2's 285 70 17, neoprene seat covers, weather techs, CBI sliders w/kickout, URD ss, cab mount chop, VHT night shade tint>tails,3rd B-light. CBI Moab front bumper, warn M8000 winch, HID kragens 7", Hella's micro fogs. retrofit headlights HIDS, LED solutions maps/license! 886 back up light mod,
I made the mistake of adjusting these too high, i was at 24" of lift center of hub to bottom of fender = 4" of lift, horrible ride and cv angles were murderous, back down to 2 /3/4 of lift and angles are perfect, and tires are no longer towed out, much better ride.........

Looks awsome! I was going to get that kit but descided to go with the Radflo coilovers for the same price bc there rebuildable and valved for our trucks. the ride is awsome!

I gotta lower my coilovers too, I have them at 23.5" from hub. which isnt too much higher then a 3" lift.

They should have in small print that even though the kit claims 3.5" if you go over that your ride will suck and your CV boots will blow. Otherwise this kit is fantastic. Nice rig.

I agree.. Most of the trucks I see with the ULK does look higher.. Is it an optical illusion or does this kit really make it sit higher?

It sure looks and feels that way. Like I said, it is a great kit. Just be careful if you start to adjust the coils cause it's only down hill from there.

those are 16'' wheels right? I have the tx pro and am looking to do the same lift and tire size right now. do you have any issues with rubbing and how much trimming if any did you have to do?

I like the wheels also, even though I think they would look better with a black lip rather than polished.
