Here they are shims and all. So, Question is... do I take those off and install on the Dakars, or buy the 3 degree ones?

Don’t bother using those. They don’t have enough pitch, they look like 1.5 degrees or less

I would install the ones you have. Fat part towards the back.

I still like the idea of taking out the rear driveshaft to isolate the problem to your drive angle. Basic tools vs going back to the shop to install the shims. I like free better I guess

Differing opinions, since you are paying per config since you aren’t doing it yourself, maybe Spey has the right idea. Oh so many options.....

Yeah, sucks I can't really do any work here. I'm limited to what I can do. I'm in a condo complex, have my daughter mostly and am not that mechanical. I'm hoping this is something I can live with and eventually take to these guys to measure angles and maybe they can disconnect the shaft as a starting point. I could always buy the shims and bring them that day, too.

I’m being sincere when I say get aftermarket shims. Been thru it the hard way. Don’t mess with those stock leafs in case you ever want or need them. They seriously don’t look like enough angle for the Dakars. With 3 degree shims my working angles of the rear shaft are 0.2 degrees off

Your best option given your circumstances is to buy the 3 degree shims, center pin and u bolts. So you have all options to solve your problem when you pull in their driveway. Then it is diagnosed and fixed same day vs diagnosed and wait for parts or jimmy rig it.
It wouldn't be worth it to use you stock shim because you need to take the leaves apart to get to it. Just leave them intact and sell.

Thanks Spey. So question... why would these shims work but not the CB drop? Also, you essentially have the Dakar mediums since you took the one leaf out?

A purist would replace ubolts every time they are taken off

Correct on the mediums. Not having the CB drop and using shims is more accurate and slightly more healthy for your unjointed over time. The CB drop is just a band aid, not a true fix. Keep in mind, if you offroad and I’m not talking about flat trails, but actually use your new fancy shocks and articulate a bit then why not do it right the first time?

My mistake was not doing it right the first time

Oh totally, and I agree. Just wondering if the CB drop is still giving me vibes... whats the likelihood taking that out and using these 3 degree shims would fix it all?
