Well I've been at sea for a few months now and I just got word from the wife that my truck is now paid off! So stoked... Let the mods begin!

I think first thing is going to be either a lift (Bilstein 5100's all around with Eibach springs up front and new leaf pack back aft) or new sound system.

This. Sound systems aren't worth it IMO; they do not make the truck more functional! Subwoofers are the worst...we don't need to hear you're techno rave as you drive down the road ahaha.

Lift and armour and the appropriate modifications (dif drop/extended brake lines) first. It is your truck though so do what you want in the end.

Well when i say sound system i don't mean like a subwoofer, just a new head unit and quality speakers... But i think the lift is gonna have to come first. Fortunately she's a Prerunner so no need for diff drop. :D

Oh haha I just noticed that whoops. Yeah I guess that works but it's not really my cup of tea to fix the Toyota speakers or head unit (they seem fine to me) until they break or something. Now, the PO of my truck put a $300 iPod-compatible (USB cord plugs into the back) Pioneer head unit in my truck.
Would I have done that? No.
Is t worth 300 bucks? No.
Is it nice to have? Yep.

So do whatever ya want in the end.

Appreciate it, I purchased the truck with this setup and I've just recently purchased the Toytec coil-overs to replace the spacers up front and 5100's in the rear.

    Congrats!

I'd go a stereo since that's what keeps me sane during traffic jams.
