Unless you wanna see my "e-recipt"... none as of yet. I know Beefed was talking that he's way behind but that was almost a month ago. I'll check with him to see about when I can expect my goodies.

I saw the same thing... it's in his forum here. I can only go about 6" without spacers and body lift BS, so I'm gonna do this and run it for awhile, and if I want to go higher the more expensive 3" comes next haha. Or maybe LT... I can dream

Tell brian to get off his lazy ass and build my shackles! :)

I kid... I know he's behind. He said his move took much longer than expected. They should be done late next week and I'll get it installed when school starts up again in january.

Ok i heard from Beefed again... he confused my order with another order. Mine still aren't built and he asked for "a few more weeks". I wanted new tires before we got any good snow but that happened today so I guess I really don't mind waiting a little longer.

Just curious why you chose shackles over an add a leaf?

Nice! So now you can run 30x9.5 R15 BFG AT on your truck. Get 2 inch shackles in the back and you are good to go. You are eventually going to need longer rear shocks. I recommend bilstein 5100's. Ranchos and procomp suck so don't use them unless you get a really good deal.

Don't go bananas with your truck after your lift or you will break your front suspension lol.

Shackles are better than AAL because they provide same lift with a better ride but minimally accelerate wear on the leafsprings. AAL are stiff but help if you carry heavy loads in the back.

I've got the 2" Shackles in the mail. Since I got confirmation on the shackles I went ahead and mounted my tires today to get the rims out of the garage. I went with Goodyear Wrangler Radials. No they're no the best offroad but I didn't read a bad review about them and they were cheap. (Plus they're the ones my dad offered to buy for me, can't beat free tires :) )

    I even has pics!

    They're 235/75/R15s
They mounted up very easily (much better than the damn racing tires we usually are working with) but they have been a bitch to balance so far. I'm thinking the lift will happen early next week.

I've been wanting to get the Cragar soft 8 or the D windows, but a heard that they hit the calipers on our 5lugs. If this isn't true and you have no problems, then I will then go with the Cragars b/c I love the look of them, they are cheap, and they are steel rims. If you have no problems mounting them and everything is a-OK with your tires I'm definitely getting the Cragars. What back space did you get?

They're 4" backspace. When I test fitted them they cleared. I haven't seen anything about them not clearing

    I read it here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/5-lug/122572-best-5-lug-rim-2.html

I just might order one rim and test it on my 5lug, if it fits I order the other three.

I'm wondering, can there be a difference in caliper size from the 1st gen 5lug to the 2nd gen 5lug? Hence, the Cragars go on w/o a problem on your 04'? I know Tio Taco is a 05'+, so is my 5lug, that's why he had trouble with the all the Cragars even when he went with a 16" rim. Anyone care to chime in about this??

Yeah I heard about Cragars not fitting on 6 lugs... I'm sure there's a difference between first and second gen.

I also got the shackles in the mail yesterday along with a free BPV bracket for my "patience" (Even though I kinda lost it) Beefed really came through and it was worth the wait. Can't wait to get this stuff put on :)

Tio's and mine are both 5lug and yes he does have some sick looking rims. I like that the Cragars are inexpensive and look solid.

I also can't wait to check out how your truck will look like when you're done, I'm sure it will be bad-ass!!
