    Yea Im sure, since I havnt done a rebuild before it might be better to just get new then from King as they likely have valving made for TC LT kits already.

    If/when you install bypasses you will likely have to revalve the coilovers as well since they will be sharing the damping load

    Ah damn I didn't even think about that. That's a bummer to consider. I guess if I put some bypasses valved for my stuff, then I would assume it would become much stiffer right?

    All I could conclusively say is the advice I've gotten is to valve them lighter after installing bypasses, but for your specific wants and needs and truck set up it may vary.

    These coilovers are not $1200 new.

    Retail on an OEM Tacoma King 2.5 is $1500 - some vendors sell it for 5% off.

    We took an OEM Tacoma King 2.5 and custom designed it to our Prerunner kit to give you the best performance. To achieve this, King charges us extra for all of the changes we made.

    The reason we took a OEM King is for customers that already have that shock can still use it with our Prerunner kit.

    As for the Coil, we are running a 600lb coil with this set up.

    Dude no shit so if you have a mid travel King coil already on your truck, you can still use it with LT for your kit?

    You will loose a little performance and travel but yes, it will bolt up to our kit.

    Our kit is only a +2 set up

    Asking for a buddy, but he will be excited for that. Does this mean you could get a dedicated LT coil as well for your 2+ kit or would you need an OEM coil as you describe?

    The coil we are using a 3x14x600 - I believe that is what comes on the OEM King? I have to double check.

    For the actual shock we used, we extended the rod, added a new plate and couple other things.

    Oh ok cool, so for the most part you can buy extension pieces to use the same coilover with your kit then or would it need a new hat and stuff?

    That is correct!

    If someone was looking to convert their current King 2.5 Coilover to the custom one, it'll be $408 to do so through us.

    This will include 2 new shock plates plus spacer removal

    not that I can afford mid travel, but the fact that you guys use the oem kings means people can upgrade in tiers, that is awesome!
