Canopy meaning like a camper shell? I already took it off but from what I remember and looking at pictures it didn't hang over the tailgate.

I saw the comment about a "canopy", but am unclear on what that means. I have a camper shell, wondering if that would work with this bumper. $750 for bumper and bed protectors? Las Vegas isn't far from the Inland Empire.

Canapy refers to a bed shell. The question was whether the spare tire mount angle would interfere with a shell and how far the spare tire was above the tailgate when closed. And the 3rd page he states that the bed protectors go with the bumper.

Yeah, I saw OP asked if canopy referred to a camper shell and there was no response. Also OP didn't exactly give very clear answer on if this would work with a "canopy".
Also, I saw where OP said they would throw the protectors in with the bumper, I was just confirming that was still the case as the price and other details have changed since the start of the thread.
    Thanks though!

I never had a camper shell or "canopy" on my truck but based off of how they sit in pictures the tire should clear. The tire didn't go over the top of the tailgate so I don't see why it wouldn't.

If you buy the bumper you can have the side protectors. Part bolts to the hitch and other part gets welded to the frame. It will need a spacer to go between the frame since I hadn't able to cut it perfectly.

And since I have lowered the price locally I am now asking $675. Same deal. Buy the bumper get the side guards.

Not a perfect side shot but you can still tell it doesn't go over the top of the tail gate. Pretty sure most camper shells back glass angle back as well so they're should be plenty of clearance.
