Finally upgraded

When I bought the truck new in October 2014, the one option I didn’t choose was JBL. I always figured I’d eventually put something better in. Well, after 7 years and 80k miles, I finally did it.

New Audison components in the front

New Hertz speakers in the rear doors

Phoenix Gold 5 channel amp under the seat

12” Rockford Fosgate Sub perfectly hidden in a ported box behind the rear seats.

I love how it looks totally stock

Which PG amp? Front seat? My Soundstream class D amp isnt cutting it for Sound Quality.

I have the same one in my wife’s GX. It’s a great amp if you aren’t looking for the kind of power to open your doors and play loud music for the entire camp site. It’s plenty powerful for listening inside the truck.

 

Missed you question about the seat. The amp is under the driver seat in the Taco and passenger seat in the GX
