finally used my truck for a heavy load!

    I have had over 1500lbs in my DC longbed, and it didn't seem too bad. I didn't get a photo of that, but here is a photo of a quad (500-600 lbs) with 2 quarters of moose (200+ lbs). In the photo, 2 of the quarters were hung up, but they were all in the truck on the drive home, totalling around 1000 lbs in the bed.

    This is a Canadian truck, so it comes with the 4 leaf from the factory. As you can see, 800lbs does not compress the rear end much.

    This was at Lake Roosevelt in Wa.

    13 people, at around 135 lb (+/- 50) = 1755

    truck handled like a charm, it is a DCLB Sport with the 4 leaf pack so that might have done something to help.
