    Hi fellow Tacoma owners.

I've seen quite a few people posting from the north bay, I'm somewhat new to the Rohnert Park area myself and was looking to get a lift and tires/wheels for my new 2014 dcsb sport. Does anyone have any good suggestions as for where to go, who has great service, good pricing, that sort of thing?

I've only checked out McLea's Tire and for a 6" fabtech with dirtlogic coilovers their price was good from what I can tell at $3700, most sites list this stage two lift at being between $3600-$3900, but for install of that and mounting some 35" nitto trail grappler tires they want just under a grand. Seems somewhat steep to me, I was expecting around $750 or so for labor (or hoping hah). Maybe if I can get a lifetime of alignments from them I'd bite at that price, I was thinking of ordering my tires and rims through them as well and would think an out the door cost of just under $7k would help them lower their labor cost.

Then again if this price seems decent or people have had great experience with this shop I'd love to hear your input, thanks!

trd seat covers, bed mat, tinted windows, debadged, mud flaps removed, tinted tails, blacked out center console, Black Rims, 6000k HID in highs and fogs, blacked out front emblem, Pioneer AVH-4300DVD, Gauge Cluster, lower valence, retrofitted, audio system, Maxtrac Spindles, Billies
Mcleas is usually overpriced. I mean only other places you can check would be led schwab or even 4 wheel parts in santa rosa. Or save money completely on labor and install it yourself.

Doesn't that lift involve cutting the crossmembers and welding the drop brackets? Not as easy as a bolt on coliover/leaf. But like Casey05Taco said, if you can do it yourself/with friends, save the install money. Its better spent elsewhere. It sounds like that may not be an option for you, though.

Sorry I can't help with shops, but I'd suggest checking around a lot. I have heard of some good quality shops in the East Bay (SWAT Customs Fremont and Shaffer's Offraod Alameda), but I don't have personal experience with them, and are likely pricey. Just going off their reputation.

Good luck with your setup! Are you thinking of a regear to run those 35's?

Id say look at 4wheelparts on santa rosa ave. They have 12 month same as cash financing also if needed. Ive never had them work on my rig but i do buy parts from them and install everything at my house in RP.

O and just a thought. If your looking at spending the money on a fabtech lift then you should also look the allpro LT kit. Just a thought.

Thanks for advice guys. I'll shop around a bit and look into the allpro LT kit.

I have done a lot of my own work on various vehicles but after talking with the shop a bit there is cutting involved not just swapping out parts so I wouldn't want to do that myself.

As for regearing I do want to eventually, probably 4.88. I had in the past an 88 bronco with the same type of lift/tires with stock gearing. There was a noticeable drop in power mostly driving at higher elevations that I want to avoid with this truck. But I can only half justify spending what I already plan on so regearing will have to wait.
