I am going to install my arb compressor and it was easy to find a wire for power, the dash light seems to escape me to illuminate my switch for the compressor. I have an 04 and was wondering if someone can help me locate a wire to splice that will tap into my dash lights to illuminate the switch when its on and when my car lights are on...

He'll have solid input. He's very, very good with wiring and anything electrical. I'm just glad he has a first gen, so we can piggy tail off his knowledge :D

So...how do I gain access to those wires? Remove the two screws and metal plate? The screw on the right seems permanantly stuck...stripped my philips head just trying to get at it...or?

Yes. You may have to pop the whole bezel off also. To get it off you have to remove climate control knobs and bezel. Knobs pull off (don't loose metal insert in them) and bezel snaps on. A small screw driver or hook tool helps to remove it. There's screws behind it.

Another option is to find the dash light wire(s) for your radio.
