IMG_20150504_171713.jpg Im starting a thread for my Monstaliner install ill be posting as i go along so feel free to subscribe! I have a 2002 Toyota Tacoma Double cab limited model in Impulse Red. I will be spraying the Monstaliner on May 9th in Blood Bath red. The reason im spraying my ENTIRE truck is because i have a lot of rock chips on the hood and tailgate along with what looks like hail damage on hood and roof also have scratches all over the vehicle from trail riding. I've already monstalined my dad's '92 Toyota pickup in Jungle Love green ill post some pics of this below! (His was a test vehicle) I ordered the 2 gallon tintable kit along with 2x 8 ounce color of Blood Bath ill be thinning the liner with MEK and spraying through a Shutz Gun ill be doing the spraying and my friends body shops paint booth.IMG_20150504_171713.jpg 20150417_162017.jpg 20150417_162023.jpg 20150417_162031.jpg 20150417_192816.jpg 20150420_190738.jpg 20150421_143305.jpg 20150421_143407.jpg 20150422_191253.jpg20150422_191317.jpg

Also removed roof rack, fender flares, decals and badgeing getting ready for the monstaliner install Saturday!

I'm curious to do this as well. I just picked up a linked 85 xtracab and the PO rattle canned it flat black and I hate it. Looking at this as an inexpensive option. I do have a question about the dirt retention on this stuff. Does this material seem as if dirt would wash off of it? Like if you went wheeling and got a lot of mud on the liner, does it seem like the dirt would get held in there or would it wash off/scrub off?

it should wash of very easily is an orange peel texture not sand papery so dirt shouldn't get stuck in it!

I didn't do the door jams when I sprayed it. I made a hard line on all the door jams. But soon I'll roll in some monstaliner in the door jams. It's just hard to spray them

    Awesome thanks!

I think Impulsedcoma meant to take a picture of the truck with the door open to see the jamb, so to see how the original paint and the monstaliner compare to each other.

Here you go! It matches pretty well! It's more bright red than the impulse factory red

And since it is back, why did your dads truck have the bed removed for the application, but not yours?

Hagler I'm going to be ordering this kit. I've never painted a vehicle before so do you have any advice for order or actually painting the truck? I have a 96 ext cab do you think I should order less?
