    Greetings all.

In the next couple of months I'll be adressing my leaking valve cover etc...the aforementioned item as we all know isn't available through Toyota anymore, so a couple of questions:

    1. What have you guys used?
    2. Is the stuff (and there is a plethora) on ebay legit or some Chinese junk? (I'm confused of where they might be coming from since it's not available through Toyota anymore...how can they be legit?)
    3. Did Toyota put out some sort of replacement, if so, what is the part #?

One thing for sure, I don't want to get in and mess around with it again anytime soon...thanks in advance!

Just go into your local Toyota Parts Department and pick it up. Not worth the time searching for a best deal online nor the shipping time. Just my opinion of course. Cheap enough, hit up the parts counter.

Buy from a dealer. FIPG seems to have a shelf life (despite not having an expiration date). I tried to save money by buying from ebay and got an old tube that didn't set. I found some other folks around the internet reporting similar problems with old tubes.

I bought some Fugi Bond from Subaru dealer……surprisingly saw past due expiration date on tube(I had no idea of this shelve life thing)

    Parts Mgr was VERY apologetic
