    Hi everyone,

Link below, I got this mount for a kidde fire extinguisher- installed it yesterday, very easy- the question I have is, is it okay in the cab in Socal heat? I dont want it to explode- I liked the mount because of how easy it is to reach in case its needed, but its exposed to sun slot- thanks

If it is a UL rated extinguisher, it must withstand rupture at 175* F.

They are also built with a relief valve, so that pressure bleeds off slowly if it does get hotter than the 175* in your truck.

    You’ll be fine.
