Hogue grip installed on the 556. Changed this thing completely. Much more comfortable now. Also installed the Springer Precision mag release on the 320. Good improvement there as well. Lancer mag cinch works awesome and the extended mag release works perfect with the duals. Also received my ETS clear mag for the 320... Junk. Swells under load and needs to be forced in and physically pulled out when ejecting. Got my new Lunar Concepts sling all setup for 2 to 1 with a Impact Weapons Components QD tri-glide.

No. You will see the front sight but ignore it and focus on the recital. Takes a bit of getting used to.

Got her built the other day. Took my time and came together great. First time banging hard on a firearm though. Harris Bipod, new scope, and scope mount next on the list. Also built a portable shooting table.

For a second there I thought you threw an M1 in a Sage chassis, I've only seen one other of those. Still, cool swap, I dig any EBR lookalikes.

It is a Sage Mod 0 stock. It took awhile for it to come in. I threw my M1A Scout in it. Never seen any knockoffs unless you’re talking about airsoft or something. There is also the Blackfeather stocks from M14.ca that I almost when with but still nothing like the Sage.

I'm not sure who here might need this guide, but if you do or know somebody who does, please share it.

When I say EBR lookalikes, I mean civilian clones and similar rifles thereof when compared to the real deal military units. That chassis is pretty unique.

Got it. The EBR Chassis is the real deal, but my M1A doesn’t have the fun switch unfortunately. Plus the M14 uses a diffrent barrel manufacturer than Springfield. So yep a clone. Been a dream build for a long time though.

I’m curious about short barrel performance, all the data I saw was from 24” barrels and that simply not practical for a battle rifle.

I can't find any carbine length barreled stats at work with filters, but assuming 25fps/inch, it'll sling 105's and 108's at 2500 FPS from a 16" barrel, which means the less match focused options in the 80-90gr range should do 2600-2700 from those lengths. An 85gr Interbond at 2600 will expand down to 2000fps, or roughly 300 yards on a game animal. On 2 legged predators the VMAX and BTHP options should be effective even farther.

@JimBeam if someone brought this gun into your store what would you offer? I have a chance to buy it and don’t know what it’s worth.

It looks to be in good shape from the pics I would think somewhere in the $150/$170 range since I am thinking resale would be about $280-$300....

Thank y’all. A friend of mine, her husband passed away a while back and her brother in law ask me if I might be interested in buying it for my son. I’ll see if we can work it out tomorrow, thanks again

Does a tungsten guide rod for a Glock 17 make a big difference over stainless? Guide rod, frame, and the three pins are pretty much the only stock parts on it.
