I have one of the first ones I have never had a problem out of it and I really like the mag release location. Hope your Son has many safe years shooting that pistol.

Got the 507C, TLR-1HL, and Ameriglo suppressor height sights on today. Hoping to shoot tomorrow if it isn't raining.

Let me know how you like those sights. I have regular suppressor sights. I need to swap out for some night sights.

They're bright, that's for sure. That's about all I can say about them. I'll update somewhere down the road. Lol

The guy who brought me the .22 pistol yesterday, I ask him today if his sister in law had any more guns she wanted to sell, he said yeah about a dozen. He’s gonna get us together soon :D

I have not experience with that light, for the size I would go with the Olight PL Mini 2 Valkyrie.
    On my glock.

    On my SIRT pistol.

I should’ve clarified, I have one of the mini lights, I grabbed photos on several different pistols to show the versatility and size.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more as I need them, as of now I only have 3 weapon lights, a TLR-1 that is usually on my M&P, a TLR-1HL that is on my “bump in the night” SBR, and the Olight which is on my PPS, it’s my carry pistol and the amount of lumens for the size plus being rechargeable is very hard to beat, the Olight is brighter than my TLR-1 with fresh batteries, it’s also much more of a flood throw which I prefer for the compact/subcompact size as I don’t need beam throw, I just need light if shit goes sideways.

Are you trying to stay low profile with the light or is your main concern being a balanced output so it’s bright enough that it’s usable without being too bright?

I can't blame you for that, there's also a RM-2 model but it's 1,000 lumens and probably a little bit bright for your use (My TLR-1HL is a little bright for inside use), but I really like Streamlights tape switch setup.
