Ahh cool, I am down with that.

I was huge fan of Soul Train back in the day. And of course of Michael Jackson who learned everything he perfected from the early form of Boogaloo Dance.

Just picked it up. Seems to be a little longer and a tad more creep/take up than the original. Both triggers were mediums.

If anyone has a lead on a Holosun 507k.. pleeeeeaaaase let me know. I've been trying to score one for a while.. have my name down at some LGS.. cash ready.. but nothing so far. I see them hitting shelves then immediately selling out again. I don't have time for that. Would rather just pay upfront and reserve one somehow.

    Does it rattle at all?
While perfectly functional, a rattling stock trigger bugs me. I bought an aftermarket trigger that was over sized and very patiently filed/sanded it until it just slid smoothly. Also bent the tangs for no creep and adjusted the small Allen screw for no overtravel. All pretty easy and cheap and well worth the effort.

The guy did a terrible job installing the new trigger. He was chatting my ear off when I went to pick it up so I never handled it. That's on me. When I got home I realized how crappy it was (movement in all directions, too much take-up and it was longer than the original...even though he said both were Mediums). The only thing that stayed the same was the nice crisp break...once you got there. The original trigger had zero movement and very little take-up (as one would expect from a DW). I should have left well enough alone. I told him I wanted the new trigger the same as the original. The only fitting he had to do was sand a little material from the bottom of the pad. He didn't even do a good job with that as I can see a small rounded area indicating that he didn't keep it flat.

I'm going to attempt to remove the one he installed and simply reinstall the original to get back to square 1. I still think I'll need a short trigger installed as my hands are on the smaller side. But for now, my goal in to undo what he did. My first 1911, so I'll watch some videos and take my time.

Got a taller, long range stand in the making, just needs a couple more support bars welded in.
