The place nearby jacked the prices up and puts out two boxes from the back at a time....... Needless to say I stopped going in there and have ordered from academy sports delivered to the door... Good luck in your search

I got 1K rounds of S&B 9mm from joebob outfitters for right at .25/round, not cheap but not outrageous either.
Our local stores have been pretty much dry for almost everything but duck loads and 6.5 creedmoor since the day of the riots.

Bro I drove through 4 states this weekend and I didn’t find a single box of 9mm in any sports store.

I did find the lords cartridge .45 acp however. Some high BC factory .308, bulk 6.5 creed, high bc 7mm-08 and 300 rds of 5.56 plinking ammo. That 55gr stuff non-gov over priced garbage.

Works pretty good! Stacked some hardware to make the plates slant forward a bit.

Considering building a portable (with locking casters) gun cleaning/work bench tomorrow. Thinking about 2' x 4' and about 42" high so I can either stand comfortably or use a shop stool if I want to sit. Have some extra white paint (easy to see dark gun parts) for the top that I could also put a couple of coats of poly on. Maybe wrap the top in a hardwood band with the back being a little taller.

I need to rebuild my target system to be more portable and transportable. I really want to be able to get the thing to be truck portable and self-supporting.

I usually swing into home depot and build something with scrap from their pile.

Boom! Only seven 2x4x8's and a 2'x4' piece of sanded 3/4" Plywood. Going to put some maple along the side and back to create a lip prevent things from rolling/falling off. Still need to paint the top white, poly the top and install casters (didn't have the right screws). 1" overhang on all sides. Final height will be 42".

Damn, you're a man of action! Looks great Mark! Do you pre-drill the holes for the screws? Are those Spax?

Thanks Rob. Didn't take long at all...just over 2 hours. Yes, 2 1/2" spax. I only pre-drill when I'm close to the end/edge of a board. I used a counter bore bit on the top to keep the screws just below the surface w/out deforming the plywood. Went a little too deep on a couple as I hit some unexpected soft areas. I screwed most from the back as to not be visible from the front.
