since you already have guns, I'd focus on your truck first.

I'm in the market for a Beretta A400 Unico with the Kick Off System. Needs to be a 12ga and take 3.5 shells. Looking to spend around $1600 old. My dad already has the A400 Xplor Light and I love that, but I want to have something I can use for ducks. I tried looking on gun broker but didn't find much, do you guys recommend any other sites. Need it soon to go hunting down in Mexico next season, I have to have it registered by mid June.

The sliders are mainly for steps and peace of mind.

The M&P would be my hunting sidearm and it would get carried around in my truck a good bit.

The bow would get used a good bit if I knew for sure that there was a place to shoot it close to where we're moving.

The 300 BLK upper will be a SBR/hunting rig

And the Misc. AR parts would go on my current 5.56 upper (possibly a scope, or backup sights)

I'll have to find one local to see if it's comfy, I have heard a lot of good things about walthers handguns, and my cousins have a p22 that's very comfortable even though I have big hands.

Yeah, it's just to many options to spend money on since I got my truck and found TW
I may get a ultra gauge and put the rest of the money away for a tax stamp.

    Thanks for the input folks.

I havent checked those sites out yet.

Not a fan of to many of the shops in SD, most of them don't help me out because I'm 20 years old, even though I'm trying to buy a $1600 shotgun.

    (1) They're worth a peek. Sometimes you can catch a really good deal on GA.

    (2) Maybe the reason they're not being helpful is because you're 20 years old and you're asking about a $1600 shotgun... They might figure you're yanking them and wasting their time.
Tell them that you understand it's probably unusual to see a kid asking about something like that, but that you're serious, and I bet they'll be a little more receptive.

Good points my dad has 3 safes with probably over 45+ guns so I been around guns for my entire life. I currently have a 870 Wingmaster and an 1100 both are awesome guns but my dad really wants me to get a A400 because he says its the best shotgun he's ever owned he has a Benelli Montefeltro but he still says the A400 is the best. . His friends have had Super Black Eagles and all the other expensive shotguns but they say nothing compares to the A400. But I'll for sure keep an eye on those sites. Thanks for the info

I ordered some .40 ammo from high country on April 21, which means it has been about 15 days. I sent a message to them online after 10 days. I never got a response back, so I called them today, and was told they got a lot of orders all at once and things got really backed up, and my 500 rounds will be on a truck going out today. I need my ammo to be better prepared for the zombie apocalypse, and any morons who decide they need things at my house more than me.

    Let's talk subcompact .40 pistols

Are glock and Springfield my only 2 choices without an external safety? What other options are there? Specifically. ..I have a G27 that is my current backup and off duty. ..but I'd like something less wide...so preferred single stack...no safety

I have the shield in .40 but it does have a external safety. IMO it's very inconspicuous.

Having an external safety is not an option or something I can budge on

The Kahr P40 or PM40 would be compact and micro options. Also the Walther PPQ. All single stack, no thumb safety.

Kahr also has their c line that's less expensive than their p line. Difference is the p line has a poly groove barrel and the c has a conventional groove barrel.

Kahrs are very reliable. I have several friends who carry a PM9 as a pocket gun. You need to try the trigger on one though - it's polarizing. It's designed to replicate a nice revolver trigger, so it's a long pull, though it's light & smooth. I have not shot or owned a PPQ so I can't comment on that.

Also the C series comes with one less mag and the front sight is not dovetailed, so no aftermarket sight option.

I do have a PPQ in .40. It is a full size, double stack mag. Safety is trigger only, like Glock.

Glock sights aren't dovetailed either and I'm pretty sure they have aftermarket sights

Jeff look at Walthers PPS. It's basically a shield without the safety.

    thanks guys

walther PPS gonna work every time like my Glock?

This is going to be a non dominant cargo pocket gun for that once in a lifetime hope I never encounter it moment...I want to be able to draw it, shove it into a chest and empty the mag...or at least return fire a short distance with as little effort as my Glock requires
