Probably could use a schooling on this, seems it drops hard after 150 though.

Yes, those big bores drop significantly around that range. They're generally considered brush guns for that reason. That's not to say one could use one long range.

Heavy relatively slow bullet with a lousy ballistic co-efficient.

The 450 BM is an attempt to mimic 45-70 ballistics in a rimless cartridge.

If you’re limiting yourself to one big game rifle then I’d keep looking lol neither of those r ideal imo.
You’re in Montana so you can prolly find something better suited. And also remember the rifle itself (at least the ones you’re looking at lol) is a small investment compared to the amount of money you’re going to spend on ammo. You’re prolly gonna have this thing the rest of your life if you choose so try a bunch and see what you like :)
If you’re dead set on one of the 2 you mentioned get the ‘06
And this is coming from a ruger American fanboi

    I agree.

I had a Browning A-bolt and my wife has a Remington bolt action, one day I told her to slide the bolts back and forth on both and see how much smoother the Browning was. She did and ask me what's the difference in them, I said about $700 :D

Not trying to limit anything, just thinking if I can only choose 1 at this time and for an unknown amount of time going forward which one should it be.

I have a T/C Compass in 30-06 and it's been good to me, bad for deer. The features you get for the price and the accuracy with 5R rifling is amazing. I put a Muzzle Rise Eliminator on it and it really tamed the recoil.

I have much more expensive rifles but I find nothing wrong with this T/C for what I use it for.

@Clemson55 This... Something better might come along soon. Generals almost over anyway. Unless you're trying to do a cow hunt this Dec, I'd wait for something a little better to come your way.

CZ 75 is one of the best looking handguns imo.

I dont have one, got a beretta 92 though, very good looking as well.

What do you guys think of the CZ? What guns do you think are really good looking?

I have a CZ 85b it is one of the nicest most accurate pistols that I own. Workmanship is a thing of beauty. Only regret is that I don’t own 2....or 3...or 6

I've shot a few. Many of my friends have P10C's and 75bs. I have an SP-01 and it's the smoothest shooting gun. Feels good in the hand, fitment is great, and looks so good. Every woman in my office carries a P10-C.

One of my favorites. Hope to add more 1911’s down the road. A nighthawk is definitely at the top of my list.
