I just got an ATN that I have messed around with just in hand but haven’t mounted yet to a firearm. I hear external battery packs are your friend. Mine is a 5x20 and the picture gets pretty grainy anything over 7x. The little research I’ve done on mine says to upgrade the IR light and it will make a huge difference. Not sure if any of this translates to the sight mark but a couple things to look into.

Yea I’ve read similar things for the sightmark. I’ll probably look into IR light before the end of the month. Not planning on shooting anything over 100-150yds. Putting it on my 300blk Ruger American for hogs

I took mine in on a partial trade a couple weeks ago and don’t currently have a firearm I particularly want to put this on. I plan on the about the same setup as you with a Ruger American Ranch but in 7.62x39

Same here. I can share parts with my Hybrid 46 and be able to set up both rifles.

Finalized my mammoth loadout. This is pretty much all of my gear for Mammoth Sniper Challenge Regular Division, so no camping gear needed. I won't list everything to keep the post small so feel free to ask questions. Not pictured is the Amazon Anemometer I found right after reading the photo and the Salomon Quest 4D Goretex boots I forgot to put in the photo.

Total day weight is about 40 pounds, I might eliminate the tool kit and goretex pants to shave a pound or two.

I'm one of the few, talking enthusiasts coworkers, who haven't purchased cans. I do think it would be nice on this 300 BO combined with 20210103_114049.jpg subsonic loads. Then I'd have to buy another case...
