    Pros-
    It a freaking M1A!
Lots of history to them...not as much as a garand but still quite a bit
    fun to shoot!
Can go anywhere from tacticool to traditional with different stock option

    Cons -
1-2MOA guns so if your going for super small groups it isnt the right gun
Expensive IMO. 1500 for an entry level
    Heavy

Its one of those guns that i would love to own. But it would be like many of my guns where i have them cause they are awesome and i dont shoot them nearly enough. Its on my list though and i even have 2 20 rounders for it already lol.

Well i dont know how much your AR is lol. I have one AR that was all of 600 bucks. Then my other two are more in the 1500 range :p

But seriously if its a good deal...grab the sucker! If you dont like it can always sell it!

Ive been waiting to find a good deal on one myself. But seems like when i have the funds i buy something else on the list and THEN the M1A i want pops up for sale >.<

Not too familiar with the platform, but should be fun to play with.

Going to shoot it tomorrow then send off the form 1 if all goes well. Probably won't get shot much as a pistol, makes me sad just looking at it :(

SGTCap, just a FYI while the TSA allows ammunition to be carried in the same locked case as a firearm (either in loaded magazines or another carrier) the specific airline may require different treatment for the ammunition. I'd just check with your airline to be sureand I always print both the TSA rules and the airline rules from the respective website to be safe.

I've flown dozens of times the last decade since they started allowing firearm declaration and have never once had an issue. I always print a copy of the official TSA statement on it and keep it in my back pocket but have yet to need to use it. Just know what the rules are and check confidently and you'l probably know the rules better than the rep for the airline in mot cases.

I got my Archangel stock and Timney trigger installed on my Mosin today and was able to test it out. I absolutely love the results. I know there are many who say it's a waste to put that kind of money into a cheap gun but I think it was well worth it. I still don't have that much into the gun overall and it shoots well.

Which part, the Archangel or the Timney?
    Thanks!

Out of the box, the spring in the magazine wasn't quite strong enough and the last round wasn't feeding. I pulled it apart, stretched the spring and had great luck from there on in. I only got through 25 rounds though. I just went through PT on my shoulder and didn't want to see how it'd do (my shoulder, not the firearm)
