Just had a Diamondback arrive yesterday. I can't wait to try it. Will mount it up next weekend. Yes the Crossfire II and the Diamond are pretty much the same scope I believe.

I'll put that particular rifle up against any rifle you choose for reliability. I built that one, and it functions flawlessly. It's a 6.5 Grendel, 1.5MOA accurate at 1100 yards, too. Maybe better with someone else shooting it.

You are entitled to your opinion. I am entitled to mine. We have had different experiences in life. Mine tells me the AR platform will fail when it is most needed. So my opinion is that it is a terrible system.

Going through my range bags last night. Found over 100 rounds of 357. At a buck a round right now and a new 357 I was a pretty happy.

Nice! I've got a couple 686's. Always fun to pull em out and rip off some 357 rounds at the range. Tuns heads for sure. In the "Tactical Tupperware" world we live in, I often get looked at like I have a dick growing out of my forehead when I use em'.

If you like messing with your guns at all, I recommend the shim/spring kit from these guys
    https://www.mcarbo.com/ruger-sp101-/-gp100-trigger-spring-kit.aspx
I have an older GP that didn't really need it, but a new SP101 was so awful I thought about getting rid of it. The kit, some polish, and a Dremel and now it's like the GP100

Most of the younger generation have no idea how to work a revolver. No clue how to de-cock the hammer or open the cylinder, much less an old school single action. I find it hilarious.

I have mostly tupperware guns but I've wanted a pre-lock 629 for several years now. If I can find them people want ridiculous prices for them. Found one for a decent price while I was working in AZ for a few months but the guy understandably didn't want to sell it to someone from out of state.

Stopped by the LGS to drop off my crossbow for a new cable and string. I heard the guy in front of me say “I bought a Savage 22lr rifle from Walmart and I’d like a high capacity magazine.” The guy behind the counter asks “Which model?” Customer says “Savage 22lr.” I was trying not to laugh when the guy behind the counter says he needs the model to get the right one, if they even make one. That guy bought 200 rounds of 22lr and a 20 round box of .270. $125 for the ammo and nothing else. The 22lr was in ziplock bags, $10/50 rounds.

27 here. My first 2 guns were a Ruger Super Blackhawk and S&W model 29 with the 8in. Slightly more conspicuous than my buddy's ppq. Lovingly referred to as "the twins"

Highway robbery, sheesh. I stopped in at Big R the other day and they had tons of ammo on the shelves. I spotted some 300blk so I asked about prices. Winchester 220gr sub sonic box of 50 for $80. I noped the hell out of there quick lol.
