Yeah, the kiosk is a cool innovation, but they still had to mail those in the old fashion way.

I didn’t mean to come off that way I apologize. The kiosk just streamlined the process for you. Someone at SS printed out your info and prints and sent a paper form and physical check to the BATFE on your behalf.

Yeah, paper forms are still an option but I think in 2-4 months when the bugs have been worked out of both systems Efile will be worth it.

Thanks, it’s going to get better, SiShop figured out the payment issue (they were trying to process a 200 payment instead of the 5 dollar AOW stamp) and we’ve gotten 2 forms submitted, still working through other bugs but it’s looking up.

Yeah, we’re gonna be moving quite a few cans if/when the wait time drops.

Paid for my can around Dec. 20 and did eform thru LGS. Received this email on 1/14 showing submitted/in process. Funny thing is, i bought 3 cans or 2 and one bogo. This is the only one i have got an email back on.

SHOT has been very well attended thus far. The new Ceasar’s building has been a wash since Ruger pulled out as an anchor. Not many people going over there. Basement is buzzing as always, same with the LE ballrooms. It’s been a success thus far.

Any recommendations on a gun vice? There are a few out there, just wondering if there is one you would recommend, thanks.

If you only have the AR, look into a lower vise block and reaction rod for your upper. Utilize existing bench vise if you have one

Trying to decide on what can I want to get next, I can’t decide between a pistol can, Rimfire can, or .30 cal can.

    Currently approved:
    Griffin Optimus (.22 - 9MM and .22 - .300 win mag)
    Griffin checkmate QD (Rimfire)

    Pending:
    YHM resonator K (30 cal)
    Silencerco Osprey micro (Rimfire)
    Silencerco Osprey 45 (pistol calibers)
Gemtech Mist 22-TD (integrally suppressed 10/22 barrel)
Gemtech Aurora II (9mm micro can)
    Griffin Recce 5 (5.56 can)
Griffin buckwhacker 46 (.22-.45 for pistols and .22-.458 SOCOM rifle)

I kinda want another pistol can to run on my PTR 9CT when I get it, but I also want another Rimfire can and a standard (Non-K) .30 cal rifle can.

So my work has training classes that I can attend for free and I went to the introduction to long range class today. It was all classroom but next month we meet to shoot out to 600 yards.

You could feel the disappointment from the instructor when I told him I plan on using my 1943 Mosin PU to try and complete the course.

I know (or at least I think) that upgrading internals for the trigger assembly has been discussed in here.

For anyone who cares, I "solved" my which gun to get dilemma with a full size M&P 2.0. I was hoping that the trigger had been upgraded from the original M&P, but it has not. Or if it has, it is still not to my liking. So, despite wanting a gun that I would keep unmodified, I'm thinking a trigger is in order. I'm wondering if one of these kits could use the factory trigger and just replace the internals, or if I would be better off replacing everything that comes in the kit.

I've been debating an M&P 2.0 for a few years. I don't need one but I do like them. I've always enjoyed my Shield. What do you like about the M&P 2.0? My range gun is a CZ SP-01.

Aren't you in GA? I'll be happy to meet you at the range one day.

I like the way they fit and feel in my hand. I like the accuracy and reliability. I also have a gen 1 shield that is my carry.

Same on all accounts. My SP-01 is the best feeling handgun I've shot. I shot my friend's CZ-75b which made me want a CZ. I lucked into an SP-01 for a steal of a deal, or else I would've gotten the full-size M&P 2.0. It was also the trigger that had me second-guessing.

Here's what I've had my eye on and I'm kicking myself for not buying one when they were $410.
