The good ole movie slide rack gig. Should already have a round in the chamber if it's truly a home defense weapon.

Does anyone know if Henry makes a 454 Casull or 460mag chambered model? Only one I can find so far is the Bighorn Armory but I don't think I can justify $2500 just to have a rifle that'll share loads with my hand cannon.

I have zero experience with them but it looks like the Rossi R92 is available in 454.

I got to shoot an XD-M w/ green Holosun yesterday. I liked the way the XD-M felt as compared to my M&P.

The Apex trigger job on the M&P made it much better to shoot over the factory configuration, but the XD-M was just smoother and more comfortable to shoot in all aspects. Kind of aggravates me because I could have purchased the XD-M for less. Oh well.

Also, before I bought the M&P, everyone told me that the RDO on it was garbage and should remain in the box that it came in. Outside of one being red and the other being green, I could tell no difference in the actual dot. No reason to switch from the Crimson Trace to the Holosun. Just my opinion at this time.

Apparently we had a coozie but one of the managers threw it away

    What M&P do you have?
The CTS-1550 optic that comes on most of the S&W guns is a very budget option, I’m sure it works for many folks but it’s an optic that I wouldn’t trust my life too.

There would be three things you would gain by switching optics, durability, battery life, and the battery being side load instead of bottom load.

Personally I’ll probably have to replace my Romeo 1 pro within the next year because it’s got quite a bit of wear on it from carrying it for the past 8 months, I tend to bang it on steel doorframes when I walk in and out of the cash cage, when it dies I’m gonna replace it with a 508T or 509T, I’ll just have to have the milling modified to accept the RMR footprint.

oh, I know it's a budget option, but I see no reason to upgrade after shooting the two side by side

Shot some old TubeSands that were starting to get UV damage.

A new 3x 60lb TubeSand stack for each caliber.

About the same as MP5 mags. German are worth more but MKE makes a nice poly coupler mag for like $35
