Anyone know of a range bag with pockets designed to actually fit eye/ear protection? I've found a few that'll fit safety glasses, but none with a pocket that really fits a full sized pair of "ears".

It did catch my attention. The modularity is interesting. I’d lean towards the basic 365 with macro frame. I’ve just been bit by too many Sigs that were lemons. I’m at a 50% failure rate and all three that failed were made in the US. My German made Sigs were flawless.

A little too thick for appendix carry. Great for OWB. I alternate this with p365 which is much easier to conceal.

I run the Vertx Light Range Bag: https://vertx.com/cof-light-range-bag

There is a code for 25% off if you use it before midnight tonight 8/17

It is built end of world tough. Holds two handguns, all the trimmings, has an ammo dump tray for the bottom that will hold over 400 rounds loose. Has a security rubberized locking wire that can be used to secure your bag when you walk away. it is a little on the expensive side, but I have had mine about 5 years, carry it in my truck every day, and it show very minimal signs of wear, zero breakdown due to heat.

I have this one. It holds all my range essentials, included 2 sets of eye and full sized ear pro.

I've got a Plano bag that's built around a plastic 50-cal ammo box that's about that size/shape. It has a couple of pockets that will fit some more compact eye protection, but was probably intended for mag storage (2 mag pockets in a range bag though?), but the only space that'll fit full-cover "ears" is the ammo box.

My issue isn't a lack of total space, it's more that since I'm going mostly to indoor ranges, I have to have my eyes/ears on before going to the bench, so it'd be a lot more handy to be able to have both of those things stored in specific outer pockets so I don't have to be potentially opening the space containing one or more of whatever guns I'm shooting that day while I'm in the lobby of the range.

I know I can get a MOLLE bag and just hang some extra pouches on the outside (and I may ultimately do that), but that can end up just turning into a crazy looking and awkward bundle of little bags all tied together

    Oh it's so cuuuuuuuttttteeeee!!!!! :yay:

I had the 509 Tactical full size when it first came out and threw a RMR on it. Was by far one of the best pistols I've ever bought. Went to a good friend and when it comes time for him to part ways with it it's coming right back home.

Looking for semi auto shotgun recommendations. The trick is, I am looking for one that will accept a security barrel, field barrel, and cantilever slug barrel. I have always been a Mossberg 500 guy but am looking to move to semi auto. The Beretta 1301 sounds great, but apparently the A400 barrels do not fit it.

Anyone have any recommendations? Probably have to be a recoil driven system to facilitate the different barrels and loads.

I have both the Kore and 2 Hank's belts (1 regular leather and 1 steel core version). As much as I like a good leather belt, I prefer the Kore. The primary reason is the size/profiling of the buckle on the Hanks. I attribute this to the fact that I'm 5'10"/160....a bit on the lean side of the spectrum. I think the buckle imprints more than my IWB setup. Now if it's winter and I've got a bigger jacket/coat on, I don't mind the Hank's. Both the Kore and the Hank's are top notch quality.

Just sharing my specific experience. Yours may vary.

I can confirm this comment regarding the Hanks. I have one of their regular ("everyday" I think it is) leather belts and the buckle profile is huge. I don't carry so I can't speak to it's use in that regard but even just with everyday, casual wear (not carrying) the buckle will print very easily.

Very nice belt though, I expect it'll last the lifetime they advertise that it will. I'm glad I upgraded and am no longer using cheap belts from Kohls

How'd you find the trigger? When does it break in? Mine's kinda gritty with <500 rds.

How much were the Ruger Wranglers when they first came out? I’ve got someone saying they gave $139 for theirs new, and I only recall the price being as low as $179 on sale around here.

I have no issues with the trigger. Nice crisp clean break. No grittiness.
