Sounds like a plan. Now I just need to figure out how to tip it to get the first few under it.

 

Try and tip on a furniture dolly.

 

All of mine I had to use furniture dollies. They all came off a freight on a pallet. My brother in law helped me wiggle it to the door, then delicately wiggle on to 4 dollys to roll into a few tight hallways. The only one that wasn’t a shit show was the one that went into the garage.

 

I was thinking about renting a piano dolly. I do have an appliance dolly that might tip it enough. Worth a try.

 

I’m sure after emptying it a couple strong guys can push it a few foot at a time. Just looking for an ingenious do it yourself trick before either buying/renting equipment or labor. The only buddies I have all have bad backs. I’d hire someone before asking them. I just wanted to avoid strangers seeing my gun safe.

 

Didn’t some folks on here get a Magpul prs lite stock? Thoughts on it?

 

I have porcelain floors. I wasn’t about that life. A moving blanket might work if you just want to push it.

 

If you setting this on concrete or hardwood or tile use hockey pucks @ each corner 2 1/2 inches in from corners

Went to in-law's house for dinner one night and step father-in-law asked if I'd go help move a safe into his buddy's house. He didn't tell me until we got there that his friend owned a military surplus business and bought a legit, 3/4" solid steel document safe. I was already adding up doctor and chiropractor bills in my head. BUT his buddy had cut some hardwood hanger rod dowels to about 30" wide. We only had to pick it up enough to get the first dowel under it and the rest was just us moving the dowels while he pushed it with one hand.

 

See if the door will lift off, that saves some weight.

 

HDPE sticks (high density polyethylene) very slippery plastic and the safe will just glide. Safe movers use the expensive ones with wood backing. I bought some 4 foot lengths of the stuff and it worked slick.

This is my 1911, let me tell you a long and irrelevant story about it.

The guy is now holding his phone in one hand and has the gun on his bench in the other and he’s trying to do a two handed operation with one hand and breathing heavily.

Some people like to use a tool to remove the BB, I find it’s easier to use my thumb. Fumbles with the BB for 10 minutes while grunting into the camera like an elderly porn star.

In his his hurry to edit the video he somehow managed to omit one piece of critical information on dropping the hammer.

 

Go get 3 or 4, 1" wooden dowels and roll it on them move the dowels as you go

I’ve never understood the parts of the videos with folks just sitting at a bench shooting it shows me nothing. If they’re showing different drills and explaining things ok but not just sitting at a bench

 

I have been sacking some sweet air soft vids. These guys are getting it in the woods, castles, all kinds of places.
Shit looks fun as hell! Not sure if I could pull my ass off my quad to do it, but I would give it a go!
